Final Project

One of best ways to present a final project is by embedding it into a webpage or blog post.
This allows people to view it, without making them download it. Google docs has an embed code for google documents, but if you used a different word processor or office program a good option to use for uploading and linking is slideshare.
  • go to slideshare and make or log into an account
  • upload your project (word and pdfs work)
  • after you upload you need to copy the embed code (to the right)
  • if you already have uploaded your document, go to view it, and the option for the embed code will be at the top of the project window.

Putting Excel Sheets on Your Blog

You cannot copy and paste from excel to Blogger.

If you can print to a picture file then you can put it on just like a picture.

If you do not have access to that option you need to find another way. As with micrsoft office, when all the programs worked together if you are on blogger you are using part of google. So if we use google programs we should be able to get things to work.

Step 1: Put your excel sheet on google docs.
  • go to your google docs account
  • click on "upload" and add your excel book.

Step 2: Check your project and make sure that it "worked"

  • fix any problems using google docs

Step 3: Publish

  • file --> publish to web
  • choose the pages that you want to publish (best to do one at a time).
  • after you publish get the "HTML to embed into a page"

Step 4: Embed sheets in blog

  • At blogger
  • make a blog post
  • go to "edit HTML"
  • paste the code from step 4 into your blog post.
